The Opportunity

We are currently in an exciting phase of growth and are seeking a Sales Consultant to join us to expand our customer base and increase market use of our products. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and growing team, working directly with C-level executives

With excellent training and complete support from the top management at Kynetix, we’ll help you hone your selling skills for software in financial services – after all, if you win, we win!

About You

You will most likely have experience of working in derivatives (futures and options), be highly curious, have excellent interpersonal skills, be a confident communicator and use these skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospective customers from first contact until contracts stage.

We anticipate you’ll have previous experience in developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas.

You’ll be a strong communicator and fast learner with excellent investigative skills and a thirst for knowledge about our customers’ businesses

You’ll be perceived as a ‘challenger’, i.e. willing to ask tricky questions with a desire to uncover our customers underlying issues and identify solutions

You’ll be able to absorb new concepts quicky , driven by relentless curiosity with a natural intelligence

You’ll be a solution formulator, i.e. someone that can envision what the solution looks like

You’ll be an innovative thinker who is energetic and ambitious with a proven drive to succeed

You’ll be Someone who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues and clients

  • Manage and drive the entire sales cycle from a Marketing Qualified Lead to negotiating deals
  • Continuously qualify prospective customers using challenging questioning focusing on uncovering their issues
  • Identify client challenges and explore and help shape appropriate solutions
  • Become an expert in our products. Understand their capabilities, their position in the market, the problems they solve.
  • Remain in regular contact with our prospective customers to understand and meet their needs
  • Be proactive in engaging with prospective customers, helping them to decide on our solutions
  • Present and demo our products to prospective clients
  • Create a vision of a solution for each customer situation
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in our market
  • Report on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales progress and results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and our market and industry developments
  • Work with others in our team to design and deliver solutions

Skills and Experience

  • A curious nature with a learning mindset
  • Hands-on experience in facing customers from C-level to hands-on operations people, even better if it’s in our sector
  • Proven success track record in any field – we are looking for success
  • Experience of complex sales (i.e. ‘Enterprise’ sales), possibly in software /IP
  • A commercial awareness
  • Willingness to take responsibility and be proactive
  • Ability to listen well / understand quickly
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, questioning and negotiation skills, with a presentable and credible disposition
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Familiarity with the futures industry would be shorten your learning curve – alternatively we’ll give you all the training you need
  • Knowledge of financial services generally would also be useful but not essential
  • Creative thinking

      • If we’re a good match for one another we’ll invite you to join Matt, CEO and Shaun, NED, for a skills interview on Teams (Up to 2 hours)
