Kynexion 2022: Lucca, Italy
Kynexion is one of many of the employee benefits, it is an annual weekend away to a European destination which is fully funded by Kynetix, which gives colleagues the chance to have fun, relax, connect and explore different destinations together as a team.
Kynexion involves a lot of anticipation before the trip even begins, the destination of the trip is a surprise and the team don’t find out what destination they are travelling to until the week before, but do get the important details of the trip such as the dates and weather forecast to prepare in advance which is always helpful and keeps the excitement going.
This year the Kynetix team went to Lucca, Italy. Lucca is a city in Tuscany and is well known for its extraordinary Renaissance walls that still circle the majority of the historic old town. The team stayed in a hotel that was a 10 minute walk into the centre of Lucca, which had bars, restaurants, local shops, historical religious structures, botanical gardens and more.
Here’s an insight to what the team got up to:
- Visited Pisa, and climbed to the top of the leaning tower
- Explored the historic streets of Lucca
- Had some amazing Italian cuisine and drinks
- Had drinks outside of St Martin Cathedral
- Climbed Tower Guinigi
- Visited the Botanical Gardens
- Climbed the Tower of the Hour (Torre della Ora)
- Photo contest (winner wins a prize!)
