A key role in delivering on these commitments to our clients is to provide ongoing support for applications we have built or implemented for them.
Have you got what it takes to manage a support department?
We are looking for a customer focussed problem solver who will manage and run our support function.
You will be familiar with multiple Microsoft technologies such as
SharePoint, Microsoft CRM and ideally programming languages such as .NET.
You will run all our support operations here and will need to become
familiar with multiple applications. You will also liaise with our development
teams to undertake support duties for them.
Some of the tasks we would expect you to undertake include
- Act as frontline support for our custom built client applications
- Act as frontline support for our SharePoint and Microsoft CRM implementations
- Problem solve client issues and fix where possible or liaise with developers to get a fix done
- Find workarounds for client issues
- Manage our in-house issue-tracking system (SureTrack)
- Roll out new releases or patches to clients
- Provide on-site support at our clients’ offices where appropriate
- Provide consulting help to clients where appropriate
- Provide application training to clients where appropriate
- Provide testing support to the development teams
- Write user documentation if required
- Provide in-house support services to colleagues
- Develop in-house support applications where required
This is a role that will suit a person with a can-do attitude and who enjoys working closely with clients.
You will be required to learn new technologies and to keep abreast of developments particularly in relation to Microsoft platforms. Working for a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner you will enjoy access to training and education events at Microsoft. You will also be encouraged to achieve Microsoft certifications where appropriate.
