We are looking for a quality focussed person who will work with our project teams to ensure delivery of robust, reliable and stable software to our clients.
You will have a background in testing both desktop and web
applications. Ideally you will be familiar with working with Agile
development teams.
You will be tasked with creating a high quality culture across the
organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring that the software that
gets delivered to clients is both high quality and that it meets their
requirements.
Some of the tasks we would expect you to undertake include
- writing and executing test plans and test cases
- executing manual testing of applications
- performing all types of testing (functional, installation, acceptance, browser compatibility, load, stress, performance, volume)
- architecting and managing QC processes (e.g., defect tracking, test case management, automated testing strategies, etc.)
- scripting and executing automated tests
- implementing iterative testing using agile methodologies
- leading bug triage meetings
- maintaining test labs of client environments
- implementing in-house training courses on quality assurance
- promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation
- setting QC compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved
- establishing best practices, methods and techniques for QC
- setting up and maintaining controls and documentation
