Help us design, build and deliver critical business systems using Microsoft .NET for our City-based clients in the financial services sector.
Kynetix have built an enviable track record over 12 years for designing, building and implementing systems based on Microsoft technology for clients in the investment banking, trading and insurance sectors.
In that time we've seen many technologies come and go (anyone remember Hailstorm?) but we continue to lead with our adoption of new technology platforms as they emerge.
When we originally chose our name Kynetix it was because it represented a sense of energy and motion - as in kinetic energy. We knew that to be a leader in our business we would need to keep moving with the technology.

If you've got over 5 years experience and are already leading teams, or are ready to make the step up to team leader, then we'll develop you into a fully-fledged .NET consultant, capable of designing and architecting key business systems for our clients.
You'll work with our clients at all stages of the project and will lead small teams of developers delivering critical business solutions for our clients.

One thing we can guarantee at Kynetix is that you will get to work with multiple technologies and platforms. In fact, it's an essential part of the role that you should be adaptable and quick to learn.
You will also work with other smart people who will ensure that you grow your skills quickly and that you learn about all aspects of the project lifecycle.
Our chosen development environment is .NET so the essential skills you will need to have are ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server. You will also need to show a strong track record in building web applications.
You can also expect to work with some or all of these platforms - SharePoint, BizTalk Server, Commerce Server etc.

- Work in small Agile teams to deliver systems using our clients' chosen platforms.
- Deliver high-quality .NET code, using corporate standards, to time and budget.
- Work with our clients' business analysts to help define new application requirements.
- Senior developers will design system architectures for high-performance .NET solutions.
- Liaise with our project managers to ensure the on-time and on-budget delivery of systems.
- Provide both Kynetix and our clients with advice on technology selection.
- Mentor other Kynetix developers and be willing to share knowledge.
- Transfer skills to our clients' technical people when working on projects with them.
- Provide estimates for applications or enhancements to our account managers when requested.
- Attend events at Microsoft to learn about new technologies.
- Investigate new technologies as appropriate and write up a report of recommendations.
- Build relationships with our clients at all levels to ensure that our reputation is enhanced and that we win more business.
- Use your initiative to solve client problems and to deliver the highest levels of service.
- Help us achieve satisfaction ratings of 85%+ from our clients.
- Contribute ideas and components to help us gain greater reusability.
- Help us improve our processes as we are continually looking to get better in all aspects of our work.
- Get certified! If you're not already at least an MCPD then you'll have to get certified within 6 months of joining us. We'll support you through this process.

To succeed in these roles you should be a top-quartile developer with a passion for technology, an outgoing personality and a desire to help our clients meet their business objectives.
You must also have worked in a disciplined development where standards are the norm and where delivering on time and on budget is expected.

We'll encourage you and support you in getting Microsoft certifications. In fact we'll push you to do these! As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner it's essential that you get qualified.
We'll ensure that you get opportunities to be involved in systems architecting & design, business analysis and consulting as well as writing code. If you have the ability we'll unleash it.
You'll get opportunities to visit Microsoft to learn about new upcoming technologies and to get in-depth exposure to tools and platforms that we use. Some of these sessions are only available to Gold Certified Partners. We also encourage you to watch the latest web casts coming out of Redmond.
As you would expect from a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, you'll have access to all the latest technologies emerging from Redmond, from early betas through to the latest releases. As an example, we're currently embarking on a project using Visual Studio 2008 (Orcas).
We'll also ensure that you have fun at Kynetix. Apart from regular social gatherings we have organised many overseas staff trips. In 2007 we had a great weekend in Ghent. In other years we've been to the Munich Beer Festival, Belgian Grand Prix, The Copenhagen Carnival, Bruges etc.
